T32. Extremely Pangkor

We are back to tell our story on how to behave when a bunch of growing up kids are let loose on the beach.  All of these happened in front of the parents.

Snorkeling @ Giam Island, Pangkor

We were already staying at Teluk Nipah, Pangkor.  The main activities are sea sports and snorkeling.  There is the island of Giam, a rather small island of rock and some area of flat beach so this island is suitable for snorkeling and swimming.  You need to ride on a boat though, and it cost only RM20 per head inclusive of snorkeling gear.
Giam Island, Pangkor.

All set, let's go....

It took us only about 5 minutes to reach the island, it is really close.  We can only think of nemo at this time, but.....the crowd.  Who cares about crowd, but surely nemo cares.  We were supplied with bread, for the fish, according to the boat driver.  We requested to be left at the island for one hour only. So, here is where the thrill begins.
Come fish, I'll pay your appearance fee.
Now follow me........
Crab for dinner?

So, does anyone managed to catch the glimpse of the fishes?  I did see just a few, not sure about the rest.  So we waited for the boat to bring us back to the beach but the boat driver have another idea after knowing that we could not find so much of the fishes.  He will show us whale and crocodile instead.  Really?  Watch this video.

Yes, those are just rock formation that resembles whale at Mentangor Island and crocodile on the Pangkor side.

 Extreme 1. Big Mable.

Energetic as they are, my brothers are still not happy with potentially seeing fishes and those rocky whale.  They even consider more extreme sports.  Banana ride is extreme but not to them.  They have chosen the BIG MABLE.

Deliberation.

We choose this.....
But this can only fit in four of us, so for some reason Syakir have been left out.  This will cause another problem, we have no idea what is the solution this time.
All the way to Phuket please.

Here is the video recording to show you what happened.

It was great ha but what to do with Syakir?

 Extreme 2. Poparazzi.

Looks like wrong spelling for paparazzi, but this is even more extreme sport, meant for those left out earlier.  And that guy has to stand.
Guess who is standing?
Off we go.  This time the target is Sri Lanka.
Here is what really happened afterwards. Watch.
Yes, they fell into the sea twice.  It has been rumored that Muiz did not fall merely because he does not want to spoil his hair.  Isn't it already spoil?  Haha......
Is this Sri Lanka?
Finally, they got what they want and not looking for extreme number 3.....at least for now.  They have been talking about Kota Kinabalu, I heard.  What will happen, I wonder.

H3. Comfort @ Anjungan Beach Resort Pangkor

Anjungan Beach Resort and Spa Pangkor Island
Cute taxi ha...
As we reached the jetty, still fully energized, we took a taxi from the jetty to Teluk Nipah.  It only took about 10 minutes with the fees of RM20.  Yes of course the fees for the whole taxi because this is the taxi rental amount.  We didn't feel it cost that much because there were nine of us.  If you are alone, you still have to pay that much.
We have booked the popular resort in advanced called Anjungan Beach Resort and Spa. Even though Anjungan is rather popular resort, mainly due to its location at the beach front and at the centre of sea activities, it regularly received not very encouraging review.  Nevertheless, we just booked two triple rooms.

Book shelve just next to the reception.
The first thing you will notice will be the uniquely-shaped swimming pool right in the middle of the resort.  We were there at about 11:00 am, but the check-in is at 2:00pm, there were few people at the swimming pool, so I was thinking maybe we should just jump in and swim while waiting for our rooms to be readied.  But the other guys have different idea.

What for swimming, check the EPL results first.

It seems that the idea of walking along the beach just in front of the resort with so many souvenir shops has many more takers, so we all did just that.  The heat is a little unbearable,  but we had no complain, this is Malaysia what.

Real hotttttt.....next time let's go to...........
Master piece.

Teluk Nipah, Pangkor.

Back to Anjungan Resort, we finally were allowed to check our rooms.  Take a look before these guys modify the room arrangement.
Our room number is 201, so I tried real hard to slot in the key holder to turn on the unit's electricity, but the hole is already blocked.  How am I going to turn on the air-cond?  Help...help....
In an instant, the maintenance guys mentioned that the room is special, no need to use key holder, just turn on those switches you want.
Now, why didn't I try switching on earlier.  Sound familiar ha.....

The seat at the window is converted to small bed.
The good thing about this triple room is that there is a long seat at the window side, and it can accommodate one person, so we converted this room to four.
The harimau pillow is not provided.

After the room cooled, we tested the bed, and almost forgotten about the beach.  But of course the other guys already have plan, extreme plan.

Check the photos surrounding the resort.  I think you will agree that this photos look very much the same as in their webpage, which means they maintain this resort quite nicely.

So, what's our opinion about this resort?  We give it.....
