T49. Back to Manukan Island

Here we are coming back to Manukan Island after three or four years lapse.  There are three popular islands within the Tunku Abdul Rahman park area, but I always go to the largest one, Manukan Island.

The ticket price used to be RM23, but due to GST and all, it is now at RM27.  Arriving at the island, we paid another RM3.82 for conservation fees, yes GST included.

Nothing much has changed, which is a good thing but a slight improvement can be seen, the resort is a little cleaner, few more facilities are in order and also a new diving gear also available.

Many fish can be seen.
Getting ready to roll.
Off they go.

Around the tip of the island does not seem a good area for snorkeling but the view is gorgeous.

How can anyone thinking of playing soccer here?
Hot as it is, some of us even dare to kick ball barefooted.  So much of energy.

A new diving gear is provided where you can just sit back like riding a bicycle and breathing supplied oxygen.  That's if you can breath normally but a guide diver is always around.
The colourful balloons are the location of the divers.

Back to snorkel.
Getting ready to leave.

Leaving Manukan should be straight to Jesselton jetty, but we took a detour to Sapi island instead, to get some passengers.
Sapi island jetty.

On our way back, we were entertained by a guy on a water ski.  So entertaining.

Check the VIDEO below and the link.

Tired legs.
