t78 SEOUL SEPT 2018

 

 what a start to the SEOUL trip..... this is what happen if you opt for a mid nite flight.

 but our fondness to Air Asia had took a turn.  we take Malaysia Airline this time, and  A380 on the upper deck.

 reach Seoul in the morning, and was not at all cold.  it was as if we never left malaysia.

 in that case let me continue with my sleep zzzzzzz....

 opted for bus to take us from Incheon airport to Myeongdong.  easy, convenient, but not so cheap.

 reaching Myeondong and look for food.  Busan Jib is not in busan, just one of the narrower lane in myeongdong but our stomach was really full after that visit.  what's next??

a usual droves of visitors to Myeongdong, Seoul may be looking for reasonable accommodation walking distance to a HALAL restaurant.

Here is my recommendation;

1. book your stay at ZAZA Hostel

as a start, the picture of adeeb with the background of ever popular MONSTER (is it Godzilla?) on top of a building.  i am sure you have seen it somewhere and here we are walking just below it.

 when shopping in TOKYO, you cannot run away from shinjuku, harajuku, shibuya, ginza, just to name a few

 

 

 harajuku's thrift or bundle shops area.  we were shocked to find the prices of some goods are more expensive than a new one.  the concept here is more 'unique' or 'rare' staff rather than thrift. we didn't buy any

 

 

 

 the surrounding area is great for morning walk but the crowd is unbearable once all the shops are opened.

 

 

 

 

 they have found what they are looking for, and spend some time here.  you can draw your own design and print it out on the adidas shirt here.

t76 MISHIMA's SKYWALK

let me introduce to you a nice little place in MISHIMA district about 36 km from Gotenba, JAPAN.  this place is called SKYWALK. you will find a long suspension bridge overlooking the FUJIYAMA that you can just walk as if you are walking in the sky, hence the name SKYWALK.

 i have rented a small NISSAN car and drove from Gotenba to Mishima.  i am sure there is also bus commuting to this place, but of course you need a little research to confirm it.

t75 this awesome town called GOTENBA

Gotemba is a city on the southeastern flank of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The city, which covers an area of 194.9 square kilometres,...(follow this link)            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotemba,_Shizuoka

 our trip to gotemba has only one purpose which is to view Fuji mountain from the window of the apartment we are staying.  we managed to get apartment costing us around RM1000 per night.  worth it I say.

t74 it's disneysea this time

it's april 2018 this time and all of a sudden, we are here at maihama already this time to scout around THE DISNEYSEA, the only one in the world.

this time with two of our brothers that mean a lot of sharing in terms of tickets, accommodation, foods preparation, and more importantly manpower.  who is gonna drag those heavy and many bags.

not to forget stroller this time, for adeeb.
