S4. Addictive Online Shopping

 All of a sudden, online shopping has become very popular nowadays.  I can say people whom I talked to have experienced buying some items online.  My colleague has just bought badminton racket online and he just showed me a few minutes ago.  Another colleague have bought even a washing machine.

I only started buying online recently through an online shopping mall called LAZADA.COM. A little introduction from their homepage.

The first purchase.

My first contact with this homepage was when I wanted to buy an LCD TV bracket.  Looking at the discounted price of -51%, I was then stunned and immediately ordered the bracket.

 Here are the steps on how to purchase items from LAZADA.

Step 1.

Go to lazada homepage.

Step 2.

Write in the SEARCH box, the item that you are looking for.

Step 3.

Move cursor to the item to buy.

Step 4.

 Select BUY NOW.

Step 5.

If you have not sign in, you might as well register so that it would be easier the next time you buy more things.  Believe me, once you successfully buy an item, you will come back for more.

Step 6.

Finally, choose the payment methods.

It is written that the delivery of the item is within 1 to 3 business days.  Normally LAZADA is quite punctual, so you can expect the courier service personal will be knocking your door in three days time.  It happened to me too, but I was not home at that time.  So it's better to give the delivery address where you would usually be during the working days.

For the next purchase, I have changed the delivery address to my office address.

 Now that I have managed to purchase that bracket, I had a look at a Samsung camera as a gift.  I took a glimpse of the camera on offer and found this.

58% discount is really unbelievable.

So I did the similar step.  One thing though, this camera is imported from Hong Kong, so the delivery time is put at 6 to 10 business days.  We will see whether they can stick with the time frame that they put.

 Once item have been paid for, you can track the whereabout of the item by using the ORDER TRACKING function.

 Of course waiting for 10 days for any online purchase is extremely nerve-racking.  Even though I have had the experience buying product from this site, worry is still worry.  And finally, on the day 7, the receptionist in my office rang me and informed of the parcel.

 To tell you the truth, I thought the camera size is a little larger, but actually it is quite small, even smaller than the Samsung galaxy series.  That is the drawback of buying something that you cannot see or touch.  But maybe you can check the dimension in the product specification next time.

  As the product is successfully delivered, a thank you note end the ORDER TRACKING sequence.  But it never mention about the successful delivery though.

 One of my favourite function is PANORAMA, where you can move the camera sideways while pressing the shutter and the result will be a horizontally elongated picture even can be up to 360 degrees.  See the sample below.
