Gwanga Bridge. |
Another must-go place in Busan is Gwangalli beach. The main pulling factor is the Gwanga Bridge as a backdrop for photo taking. This bridge links the bay west of Haeundae to Daeyeon-san-dong. It is a 6.5km long and is the largest bridge in Korea and is illuminated at night. For this matter, we decided to go to the beach at night, which probably was a bad idea, again because of the temperature.
- Line 2 (green line), Gwanga Station, Exit 3 or 5. Walk towards beach for 10 minutes.
Nothing impressive when walking towards the beach from the subway station since there is a huge construction on the right along the road. This is the construction of a major shopping complex.

Nice backdrop. |
I was approached by an elderly man selling all sorts of fireworks, but I nicely declined. Kids will not miss this kind of opportunity, luckily I didn't bring them....huhu

Wishing cards. |
There is an illuminated wishing card structure in which you can write on a piece of card and hang it there. I assume this must be for new year's wish.
Nothing much to do besides sitting on the concrete bench, but it was so cold. We were there for probably 30 minutes before we head home for a refreshing cup of coffee.
