t62 UMEDA Sky Building

Sky Building in UMEDA is an exciting place to visit while in OSAKA.  UMEDA is an area for central station in OSAKA, much like central station in KL.  but it's size is probably twice or triple that. it houses multiple lines for JR, Hankyu and many more lines.

the Sky building on the other hand is the latest OSAKA's attraction.  good thing that it opens until 10:30 pm but we were there almost at the closing time.  we were very much the last group allowed up.

we lined up to take the lift up to 40th floor which only took us just few seconds.  being the last group we hurriedly bought the entrance ticket costing 800 yen per person and immediately whisk into the observatory level called Floating Garden.  it is indeed a floating level at the height of 173 meter, enough to take your breath away when looking downwards, if you dare.

still picture can't really give a fair feel of excitement reaching the rooftop open observatory deck so i reckon the video below would.

since we stayed at Hommachi, we took the Midosuji line towards Umeda.  from Umeda station look for exit towards North.  we have to cross few roads and an underground tunnel before seeing the building right in front.  you will not miss this landmark.
