T1. FALLING FOR SEOUL's PALACES

Subway lines ..... clean and efficient
Subway lines in Seoul are rather efficient, the only headache will be the complexity of the lines.
All is not lost though, the lines are identified by numbers and colours.  If your destination station is in the same line colour and number, you have nothing to worry, just hop on and look for the destination station.  If you are colour blind, you still have number to take your worries off....hehe. Make sure the direction is correct.  Luckily all stations name are written in English.
The complex subway lines.  But if you can manage Tokyo subway lines, you can manage Seoul too.
Kawaii..............ohh that's in Japanese.  What is it in Korean???

GYEONGBOKGUNG  PALACE

When visiting foreign countries, we try to understand their  history and culture as much as possible.  I definitely will read few articles or books on those countries. [Coming up: books review].  So here, our first stop, an old palace.
Gyeongbokgung Palace... Too many errors in spelling this palace name, but this is an awesome place, I mean palace
ROUTE: Use exit #5 of Gyeongbokgung Station (Subway Line #3)
Worried of getting lost?? Here is the map...

Change of guards.
They are rather tall and serious.....maybe just because I am short.
There are many palaces within Seoul itself.  The other popular palaces are Deoksugung, Changdeokgung, ChangGeonGung Palaces.  Don't blame me if I got the spelling wrong, told you it's hard. As for us, we were happy enough visiting just one palace.  I guess the rest are more or less the same?
Enough of palace visit, let's start shopping......
 NAMDAEMUN  MARKET
Namdaemun market is a must for tourist.  You can find anything under the sun, but we were there when the sun starting to set though.
ROUTE: Subway Line 4, Hoehyeon Station, Exit 5, Metro Line 1, City Hall station
She is interested in bags.........
Namdaemun market.......This is my wife's favourite

and bags......
