Not very far from the Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI), there is a masjid made of steel, glass and crystal appropriately called Masjid Cyrstal. It was opened in 2008 and can accomodate 1500 worshippers.
One of the thing I can remember clearly is the heat. As most surfaces are made of glass, all light reflection and the sun ray cause the increase of temperature around the masjid. But it is not too bad inside the masjid itself.

There was a nikah (solemnisation) ceremony taking place at that time so some part of the prayer hall was out of bound.
